At first i was a little bit sceptical about the price tag of the keycaps. After i received my first order i was stunned about the quality and the looks. It is worth to give this a try if you want fully customizable keycaps to have a very unique keyboard.

„Good Service with room for improvement“

The keys were fantastic. Several of the more ornate sigil designs came out perfectly but I had some keys that had simple geometric shapes that were off-centre. I ordered my custom keys at the beginning of June and it only arrived by the middle of July. Which isn't too long for a custom keyboard but I feel it could be improved. Overall I would definitely order from them again though.

„Very precise colors - lightning fast shipping - prompt support“

Counter to my expectations and given my uncalibrated monitor, I was positively surprised by how precise were the actual keycap colors. Also was really amazed to see my keyboard layout added to a configurator the next day after I asked if it was at all possible. Last but not least, the processing and shipping was fast, I got my keycaps in less than a week after placing an order.

„Amazing customer service and great results“

I recently odered a set of keycaps. The quality of the keycaps is great - the surface is slightly rough so your fingers have a good grip. The line work of the different letters and even in the pictures is really precise - down to about the thickness of a hair everything is sharp. Overall a great service/product, would only recommend

Die Keycaps sehen hervorragend aus und fühlen sich sehr gut an. Die Drucke sehen hervorragend aus, mit bloßem Auge sind keine Misprints oder Misalignments zu erkennen. Auch mehrfarbige PNGs werden super gedruckt. Einzig die Lieferzeit war bei mir deutlich länger als angegeben, dabei hat mir aber der freundliche Kundenservice geholfen und mich ganz transparent über deren aktuelle Zulieferer und Probleme mit alten Zulieferern aufgeklärt. Alles in Allem eine super Erfahrung und ich werde auf jeden Fall nochmal bestellen und wenn dann die Lieferzeit passt sind es auch glatte 5 Sterne :)

„good web design tool, good communication and good quality“

The design tool lets you do almost anything possible within certain limits, like some "safe" borders to ensure the printing won't be cropped. The seller warns there might be some misalignment on some key, I have on some keycaps, but like I just wrote, we are warned this can happen. To be honest it is barely noticeable, and I don't mind. In my experience, the communication with the seller has been excellent and constructive. You can see that by yourself on reddit, the seller has the best and most honest communication I have ever seen from a company. And finally, the result was as expected. I had logos on some keys, they are perfectly printed :) I'm very happy with my purchase and recommend if you want a real custom design!

„Customizable and great value keycaps“

The legends are clear and aligned fairly well. I appreciate the good communication. The only downside I noticed is the that at the corners the keycaps the color isn't consistent. This can be noticed on darker keycap colors. For this reason I'm going to choose lighter keycap colors next time. But taking into consideration the price and customizability I'm still satisfied and giving 5 stars.

„Premium keycaps, infinite possibilities“

If you’ve found this website, you’re most likely a mechanical keyboard enthusiast who either can’t find the keycaps you’re looking for, or isn’t satisfied with the generic keycaps available elsewhere. For me, it was the former. Your options for finding suitable keycaps dramatically decrease when you want to use an ISO keyboard. And for a Turkish layout, there’s essentially nothing available. For this reason, Thockfactory was a lifesaver for me. At the time I configured my own keycaps, there was no Turkish keyboard preset in the configurator. However, it’s straightforward and powerful enough to take one of the existing presets and customize the text to create whatever you desire. Regarding the color of the keycaps, I chose two shades of natural grey and red. When I received them, I discovered that the red I used was produced almost exactly as I saw it in the configurator. On the other hand, the produced grays seemed to have a hint of brown/purple in them. I like them nonetheless. However, this color inaccuracy was shared with the owner and, if I understood correctly, this issue should have been resolved by now. Aside from the colors, the keycaps are really nice and feel premium to me. You probably won't regret ordering yours, too.

„Good Keycaps“

I recently ordered a custom keycap set from Thockfactory, and it has now arrived. I really like it. Aside from a few mistakes I made during the configuration (like selecting "thin" media key icons), there are just a few minor details that stand out upon closer inspection. Colors: Overall, I'm satisfied with the colors. They don't look exactly like they did on my monitor, but since I haven't calibrated it, that was to be expected, so I’m not complaining. However, some colors that are supposed to be the same aren't quite identical Material and Legends: The keycaps are made of PBT and feel premium. I also noticed that the keycaps seem to have a subtle, interesting glitter effect, which probably comes from the texture of the caps. The alignment of the legends is mostly clean, with just a few keys being slightly off. Support: The support during the configuration, when dealing with configurator errors, and even after the order was excellent! Conclusion: Overall, I’m satisfied. These keycaps are quite special since you'd be the only one who has them exactly like this. Aside from the points mentioned, the quality is really good as well.

„Incredibly good customization options“

As a German programmer, it’s hard to find keycaps that a) match my taste and b) fit my ISO-DE keyboard. Thockfactory offered me almost endless options, and I was able to configure a complete set that met my needs. The price is very reasonable considering what you can design. It took a while to arrive, but I love the results! I will definitely order again in the future.

„Bester Webclient & makellose Herstellung: große Empfehlung für individuelle Tastenkappen“

Sehr zu empfehlen! Thockfactory stellte für mich zum fairen Preis einen kompletten Satz individueller Tastenkappen her (für das ergonomische NEO2-Tastaturlayout). Der Webclient ist ausgezeichnet durchdacht! Er erlaubt Design-Einstellungen nicht nur für Einzeltasten, sondern auch für Tastengruppen. Auf dem Weg zur Fertigstellung des Arbeitsauftrags sind Zwischenspeicherungen, Down- und Uploads des Arbeitsfortschritts möglich, sodass auch größere Projekte kein Problem sind. Meine gewählten Grundfarben und aufgedruckten Symbole und Beschriftungen wurden auf den Cherry-Tastenkappen sauber gedruckt. Die Versendung der Tastenkappen erfolgte in einer übersichtlichen Box, worin alle in der richtigen Reihenfolge einsortiert waren. Bitte beachten: Trotz deutschem Firmensitz erfolgte die Herstellung in China, entsprechend länger dauerte die Versendung. Am exzellenten Ergebnis ändert das aber nichts.

„Unexpectedly good quality, definitely recommend!“

I'm fascinated by how easy it is to get custom made keycaps nowadays! In the past I always purchased white blank keys and wrote on them with a Sharpie... Someone recommended Thockfactory to me and I’m so happy they did! I spent a whole evening creating something unique and just 13 days after placing my order, they arrived. Neatly packaged in a pretty sturdy tray, all keys were organized and undamaged (which isn’t a given nowadays, we all know who I mean) The quality of the keys was way better than I expected. Crisp prints, little to no blurred edges, saturated colors and minimal if any dye-sub bleed. Some very minor misalignments are there if you really look for them, but nothing serious or noticeable. This is also clearly communicated during checkout, so it shouldn't come as a surprise. All in all, I'm extremely happy that this option exists and I don't have to use basic white keycaps with Sharpies anymore. Will definitely order more sets in the future!
