The quality of the key caps is very good. Customer service (Emil) is excellent. Always responds to my emails very quickly. Delivery is the only issue really and that has nothing to do with the company. It will take a long time for the key caps to be delivered. After leaving China, it can take up to eight or nine days to be delivered. But as long as you know that, then it doesn't really matter. This is the second time I've used this company. I would be happy to recommend it.

ThockFactory ist für mich der beste deutsche Hersteller von Keycaps, den man sich wünschen kann. Die Customization-Möglichkeiten sind praktisch unbegrenzt. Man bekommt hier wirklich den größtmöglichen kreativen Freiraum, um seine Keycaps genau nach den eigenen Vorstellungen zu gestalten. Das Erstellungstool ist dabei ein echtes Highlight: intuitiv, übersichtlich und einfach zu bedienen. Egal ob ISO- oder ANSI-Layout, jede Länderspezifikation lässt sich problemlos auswählen, und eigene Designs oder Grafiken können mühelos integriert werden. So ist das Personalisieren perfekt ausgeprägt! Auch der Kundenservice verdient ein großes Lob – mein Anliegen wurde innerhalb kürzester Zeit und absolut freundlich gelöst. „5 Star experience!“

From the beginning to the receipt of my keycaps, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and hope others find the same enjoyment that I did! First, the configurator is intuitive, simple, yet not limiting, you can do literally ANYTHING within your skillset and have it recreated. You're not limited to vector artwork, color choices, etc. Its a really cool process. I found it so relieving to only be limited by my imagination and competency in design. from order submission to receipt took 20 days, well in line with my expectations, especially in this hobby where GB's dont deliver until months later. 20 days to design, manufacture, and ship to USA... not bad! the only downside might be that I have more cool ideas I want to execute and not enough boards to mount them on!

I ordered custom keycaps and overall I’m really happy with the result. The designer was very easy to use and I loved that it could also process image files, which made creating unique designs super straightforward. The print quality is great. Even tiny details came out sharp and clear, and the colors look exactly like in the preview. The price is fair for the quality you get. The only downside was that shipping took a bit longer than expected, but the final product was definitely worth the wait. Would absolutely order again.

Just frickin’ awesome. I’ve been using Logic Pro for 20 years and I bought a special keyboard with specific keycaps and a modified key command set like 18 years ago…and now I am very set in my ways and the old keyboard bit the dust ages ago. website is pretty initiative to use, level of customization that you can do with respect to the design is pretty great. limited keycap and shinethrough option but many layouts to pick from, if layout is not found, layout is easy to add by requesting it on reddit. the actual colors are a little bit darker than on the website but all images added came out perfect on the keycaps.

Going into making custom keycaps, I was worried about being able to get the color profiles and visuals the way I wanted them. Also, while I wasn't in a time crunch, I was skeptical how long it would take to get them. Not only was my order ready to ship 9 days after being placed, I received tracking info and images and then a week later they arrived. Upon inspection, everything from the packaging to the keycaps were high quality and were visually exactly what I was expecting. Great service and will absolutely be using again / moving forward!

The only issue I had, that's totally my bad, I wanted to get custom prt screen, pause, scr lock key, and apparently they are higher than regular keycap, honestly I didn't think about that. As a result these keycaps on my keyboard are shorter than neighbor keys.

I recently ordered some custom keycaps using Thockfactory 2.0, and aside from some small issues out of our control, everything went great! They had originally taken longer than expected for my shipping information, so I decided to email customer support. I managed to talk with Emil, and they were very respectful to me and explained everything properly. It was taking longer because of an issue with their manufacturing that turned the grays on my keycaps brown, and they treated my order with very high priority. Shortly later, my keycaps have arrived and I am very pleased! These keycaps have incredible quality in almost all aspects, and were all I could ask for! I would 100% recommend buying yourself a set of custom keycaps from here, as long as you are in the market and have the money. Overall, Thockfactory is great. 10/10.

I ordered a custom set of keycaps, and while they arrived quickly and the quality was excellent, the color was off. My dark gray keycaps came out dark green. I reached out to Emil, and the customer service I received was the best I've ever experienced. Sehr zu empfehlen! Thockfactory stellte für mich zum fairen Preis einen kompletten Satz individueller Tastenkappen her (für das ergonomische NEO2-Tastaturlayout). Der Webclient ist ausgezeichnet durchdacht! Er erlaubt Design-Einstellungen nicht nur für Einzeltasten, sondern auch für Tastengruppen. Auf dem Weg zur Fertigstellung des Arbeitsauftrags sind Zwischenspeicherungen, Down- und Uploads des Arbeitsfortschritts möglich, sodass auch größere Projekte kein Problem sind. Meine gewählten Grundfarben und aufgedruckten Symbole und Beschriftungen wurden auf den Cherry-Tastenkappen sauber gedruckt. Die Versendung der Tastenkappen erfolgte in einer übersichtlichen Box, worin alle in der richtigen Reihenfolge einsortiert waren. Bitte beachten: Trotz deutschem Firmensitz erfolgte die Herstellung in China, entsprechend länger dauerte die Versendung. Am exzellenten Ergebnis ändert das aber nichts.

As a German programmer, it’s hard to find keycaps that a) match my taste and b) fit my ISO-DE keyboard. Thockfactory offered me almost endless options, and I was able to configure a complete set that met my needs. The price is very reasonable considering what you can design. It took a while to arrive, but I love the results! I will definitely order again in the future.

Die Keycaps sehen hervorragend aus und fühlen sich sehr gut an. Die Drucke sehen hervorragend aus, mit bloßem Auge sind keine Misprints oder Misalignments zu erkennen. Auch mehrfarbige PNGs werden super gedruckt. Einzig die Lieferzeit war bei mir deutlich länger als angegeben, dabei hat mir aber der freundliche Kundenservice geholfen und mich ganz transparent über deren aktuelle Zulieferer und Probleme mit alten Zulieferern aufgeklärt. Alles in Allem eine super Erfahrung und ich werde auf jeden Fall nochmal bestellen und wenn dann die Lieferzeit passt sind es auch glatte 5 Sterne :)

„Good Keycaps“

I recently ordered a custom keycap set from Thockfactory, and it has now arrived. I really like it. Aside from a few mistakes I made during the configuration (like selecting "thin" media key icons), there are just a few minor details that stand out upon closer inspection. Colors: Overall, I'm satisfied with the colors. They don't look exactly like they did on my monitor, but since I haven't calibrated it, that was to be expected, so I’m not complaining. However, some colors that are supposed to be the same aren't quite identical Material and Legends: The keycaps are made of PBT and feel premium. I also noticed that the keycaps seem to have a subtle, interesting glitter effect, which probably comes from the texture of the caps. The alignment of the legends is mostly clean, with just a few keys being slightly off. Support: The support during the configuration, when dealing with configurator errors, and even after the order was excellent! Conclusion: Overall, I’m satisfied. These keycaps are quite special since you'd be the only one who has them exactly like this. Aside from the points mentioned, the quality is really good as well.

„Premium keycaps, infinite possibilities“

If you’ve found this website, you’re most likely a mechanical keyboard enthusiast who either can’t find the keycaps you’re looking for, or isn’t satisfied with the generic keycaps available elsewhere. For me, it was the former. Your options for finding suitable keycaps dramatically decrease when you want to use an ISO keyboard. And for a Turkish layout, there’s essentially nothing available. For this reason, Thockfactory was a lifesaver for me. At the time I configured my own keycaps, there was no Turkish keyboard preset in the configurator. However, it’s straightforward and powerful enough to take one of the existing presets and customize the text to create whatever you desire. Regarding the color of the keycaps, I chose two shades of natural grey and red. When I received them, I discovered that the red I used was produced almost exactly as I saw it in the configurator. On the other hand, the produced grays seemed to have a hint of brown/purple in them. I like them nonetheless. However, this color inaccuracy was shared with the owner and, if I understood correctly, this issue should have been resolved by now. Aside from the colors, the keycaps are really nice and feel premium to me. You probably won't regret ordering yours, too.

The legends are clear and aligned fairly well. I appreciate the good communication. The only downside I noticed is the that at the corners the keycaps the color isn't consistent. This can be noticed on darker keycap colors. For this reason I'm going to choose lighter keycap colors next time. But taking into consideration the price and customizability I'm still satisfied and giving 5 stars.

The keys were fantastic. Several of the more ornate sigil designs came out perfectly but I had some keys that had simple geometric shapes that were off-centre. I ordered my custom keys at the beginning of June and it only arrived by the middle of July. Which isn't too long for a custom keyboard but I feel it could be improved. Overall I would definitely order from them again though.

„good web design tool, good communication and good quality“

The design tool lets you do almost anything possible within certain limits, like some "safe" borders to ensure the printing won't be cropped. The seller warns there might be some misalignment on some key, I have on some keycaps, but like I just wrote, we are warned this can happen. To be honest it is barely noticeable, and I don't mind. In my experience, the communication with the seller has been excellent and constructive. You can see that by yourself on reddit, the seller has the best and most honest communication I have ever seen from a company. And finally, the result was as expected. I had logos on some keys, they are perfectly printed :) I'm very happy with my purchase and recommend if you want a real custom design!

Counter to my expectations and given my uncalibrated monitor, I was positively surprised by how precise were the actual keycap colors. Also was really amazed to see my keyboard layout added to a configurator the next day after I asked if it was at all possible.
