All things considered, the choice between PBT and ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) keycaps depends on personal preference. PBT keycaps are generally preferred for their durability and resistance to wear, while ABS keycaps may develop shine over time but are known for a smoother feel.

Dye-sublimation, or dye-sub, is a keycap printing technique for transferring dye into the material, creating vibrant, long-lasting prints. This method ensures labels resist fading, providing durability and a clean look. Dye-sub makes it possible to print almost any design onto keycaps — perfect for uniquely customizing your own keyboard.

Our online custom keycap set configurator allows you to personalize each keycap to your liking. Choose colors, add text, and even include icons on individual keycaps. The intuitive interface makes it easy to create a keycap set that reflects your unique style.

Absolutely! Our configurator supports custom images and icons. Upload your own images to give your keycaps a truly personalized touch.

We will never share your uploads with any third parties and only use them to transfer the designs on your keycaps!

Currently, the option to upload custom fonts is not supported. We are however in the process of implementing this feature. In the meantime, you can select from a variety of over 1000 fonts available in our configurator.

No, there are no limitations. You have the freedom to use as many colors as you like to create vibrant and unique keycap designs.

You can choose from a variety of layouts to suit your preferences. Our configurator currently supports the following layouts:

100%, 96%, 1800, TKL (Tenkeyless), FRL (Full Right Layout), Southpaw, 75%, 75% Exploded, 65%, 65% Exploded, 60%, 50%, 40% OLKB and some more. You can check all available layouts directly in our configurator.

Every layout can fit ISO aswell as ANSI standards with JIS coming in the near future.

If your specific layout is not supported now, feel free to contact us and we might add it in a later revision of our custom keycap set configurator.

Our keycaps are designed for Cherry MX and Cherry MX compatible switch stems only. Furthermore, it is essential that the existing keycaps on your keyboard are designed to be removable. Before ordering, verify compatibility with your switch type and layout for a seamless experience.

At present, Cherry profile is the only one supported. However, we have plans to introduce XDA, DSA and OEM profiles in the near future. We might add more profiles down the line, depending on user feedback.

At the moment, the configurator does not offer the option to include extra keys due to limitations in the printing process. We are however considering this feature in the future.

If you encounter a crossed square symbol ☒, it indicates that the selected font doesn’t support the character you’re attempting to add. To fix this, please choose a font that includes the desired character for accurate display on your keycaps.

A warning symbol indicates that the colors of at least one legend has very low contrast in combination with your keycap base color and might be hard to discern once printed. Please try to choose colors to increase the contrast ratio.

The cost of our custom keycap set is just $79.99. This price includes the customization of your keycaps using our online configurator. Please note that additional fees, such as shipping costs, will be calculated during the checkout process. The transparency of our pricing ensures that you know the total cost before finalizing your order.

Installing our custom keycaps is a straightforward process. Simply remove your existing keycaps using our provided keycap-puller and snap the new ones into place. If you encounter any difficulties or have specific installation questions, feel free to contact our support team for assistance.

No, our PBT keycaps are not designed for backlighting. The dye sublimation process, while offering vibrant and durable designs, does not allow light to pass through the legends.

To clean your keycaps, we recommend using a mild solution of water and a gentle soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or chemicals that may damage the dye sublimation print. Regular maintenance with a soft brush can help keep your keycaps looking new.
